Description
1st day; ZADAR – PLITVICE (overnight)
Your 3 day private tour to discover the most famous Croatian national park Plitvice Lakes and admirable cities of Sarajevo and Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, starts with a pick up from your hotel in Zadar. Upon meeting your personal tour guide / driver, enjoy the pleasant ride towards the magical Plitvice Lakes. During the ride, you can make some stops to experience some beautiful views with nice photo opportunities.
Arriving at the Plitvice Lakes, tour guide will adjust the sightseeing tour upon your wishes and requests, including walking, boat and tram ride. This park consists of 16 terraced lakes, formed by natural travertine dams. The water keeps breaking through the travertine barriers at different places, so that the entire process of formation of lakes and dams is alive and very dynamic. Take a look of the different colours of each lake, depending on the weather that day.
To enrich your experience of the area, our tour guide will advise you some local restaurant for lunch where you can taste typical dishes or local wine or beer. Then, your tour guide will drive you to your hotel for check in. You will have enough time to relax and prepare for the next day. Overnight at Plitvice Lakes.
2nd day; PLITVICE – SARAJEVO (overnight)
In the morning, we leave Plitvice Lakes towards Bosnia and Herzegovina. Passing by Bihac and Jajce with your tour guide, you will arrive in capital city Sarajevo. A local tour guide will be waiting for you and take you through Bascarsija and Sarajevo city center to show you unique places and customs.
On 4 h tour we will visit famous fountain called Sebilj, Kazandziluk street, Imperial mosque, Gazi Husref beys mosque complex, war tunels and few other spots around. This city epitomizes a partial centuries-old struggle against outside influences combined with the absorption of these influences into one of the most diverse cultures in Europe.
Beside of historic part, the guide will show you where are the best local restaurants to have a lunch and to try domestic food cevapi, burek, baklava, best Bosnian coffee, where to buy local products and souvenirs. Enjoy time at leisure strolling through the streets and discover Sarajevo on your own. You will discover why in Sarajevo everyone feels just like home. Overnight in Sarajevo.
3rd day; SARAJEVO – JABLANICA – MOSTAR – ZADAR
After breakfast, our tour schedule takes you to Mostar. On our way we will make a stop at Jablanica where you can visit the museum „Battle for the Wounded on Neretva River“. The road takes us almost through the entire Bosnia. Arriving in Mostar, you will discover its antique historic center situated along the sides of the very famous Old Bridge, on a 1,5 hour private walking tour with English speaking local tour guide. The city is characterized by the meeting and by the living together of the four religions present in the area – Catholic, Orthodox, Islamic and Jewish – and this factor explains a great part of its fascination.
You will have the opportunity to taste some traditional Bosnian local food as cevapi, pita or burek, baklava, ormasice, or even buy some suvenirs at the bazaar, just ask your tour guide for a recommendation. Tour finishes in the evening at your drop off location in Zadar.

Testimonial
My friends and I did a 3 day tour from Split to Plivitce, and Mostar and I cannot say enough nice things about the tour and our guide/new friend, Andrija. We had the best time everywhere we went- even in the car, having chats all together, listening to music, stopping whenever we were hungry or thirsty, etc.
The sights were absolutely gorgeous and places I had never even known about. Andrija could not have been more generous, helpful, fun, and knowledgeable about the places we went to. We had so much fun exploring the lakes together, the Bosnian countryside, Sarajevo and Mostar.
On the way home, none of us wanted the trip to end so we all went for oysters and a beautiful sunset in Ston. I cannot recommend this tour and this fabulous guide/friend of ours, Andrija. You won’t regret it!!!!,
