Description
1st day; ZADAR – SARAJEVO (overnight)
Your 2 day private tour to discover the admirable cities of Sarajevo and Mostar in Bosnia and Herzegovina, starts with a pick up from your hotel in Zadar. Upon meeting your personal tour guide / driver, enjoy the pleasant ride towards Sarajevo. During the ride, you can make some stops to experience some beautiful views with nice photo opportunities.
Passing by Bihac and Jajce with your tour guide, you will arrive in capital city Sarajevo. A local tour guide will be waiting for you and take you through Bascarsija and Sarajevo city center to show you unique places and customs. On 4 h tour we will visit famous fountain called Sebilj, Kazandziluk street, Imperial mosque, Gazi Husref beys mosque complex, war tunels and few other spots around. This city epitomizes a partial centuries-old struggle against outside influences combined with the absorption of these influences into one of the most diverse cultures in Europe.
Beside of historic part, the guide will show you where are the best local restaurants to have a lunch and to try domestic food cevapi, burek, baklava, best Bosnian coffee, where to buy local products and souvenirs. Enjoy time at leisure strolling through the streets and discover Sarajevo on your own. You will discover why in Sarajevo everyone feels just like home. Overnight in Sarajevo.
2nd day; SARAJEVO – MOSTAR – ZADAR
After breakfast, our tour schedule takes you to Mostar. On our way we will make a stop at Jablanica where you can visit the museum „Battle for the Wounded on Neretva River“. The road takes us almost through the entire Bosnia. Arriving in Mostar, you will discover its antique historic center situated along the sides of the very famous Old Bridge, on a 1,5 hour private walking tour with English speaking local tour guide. The city is characterized by the meeting and by the living together of the four religions present in the area – Catholic, Orthodox, Islamic and Jewish – and this factor explains a great part of its fascination.
You will have the opportunity to taste some traditional Bosnian local food as cevapi, pita or burek, baklava, ormasice, or even buy some suvenirs at the bazaar, just ask your tour guide for a recommendation. Tour finishes in the evening in Zadar.

Testimonial
We have the tall Andrew being the driver who drove more than 600km during the day and bring us to both Mostar and Sarajevo where we met the local tour guides.
It was a very interesting experience and Andrew was great in getting us understand Croatia, the relationship between the Bosnia, and always ensuring we got the best service from the local tour guides. We were really impressed by his professionalism.
